(Furqan) 25 : 18
قَالُوا سُبْحَانَكَ مَا كَانَ يَنْبَغِي لَنَا أَنْ نَتَّخِذَ مِنْ دُونِكَ مِنْ أَوْلِيَاءَ وَلَٰكِنْ مَتَّعْتَهُمْ وَآبَاءَهُمْ حَتَّىٰ نَسُوا الذِّكْرَ وَكَانُوا قَوْمًا بُورًا
They will reply: "Glory is to You! It was not suitable for us to select any patrons besides You, but You have provided them and their forefathers livelihood until they forgot Adhikr and became a worthless people".
